Rules & Information
• The theme for the parade is “Kids, Country, & The County Fair”.
• Line up starts at 2:00 pm Parade starts at 3:00 pm
• Parade check-in will take place in the lot at Warsaw PD on Fort Wayne Street
• The parade lineup will take place in the large parking lot of the Warsaw Police Department.
• The parade will begin on Fort Wayne Street to North Harrison Street to Center Street to Bronson Street to Main entrance of the Kosciusko County Community Fairgrounds.
• The announcer’s stand will be in the Antique Area on the West Drive of the Fairgrounds.
• Categories are 4-H, Antique Vehicle, Float, Equestrian, Commercial, Best of Theme, and Club.
• Equestrian units will need to provide their own manure cleanup along the route.)
• No rain dates. The parade will be held unless a state of emergency is in effect.
• No handing out or throwing items (candy etc.) from any moving vehicle.
• A responsible person walking adjacent to the respective entry & close to the curb line may give out handouts. Any violators are subject to having the entry removed from the parade.
• All entries need to have a brief written statement to be read as your unit passes the announcement stand. (Parade will not stop to read the statement) Statements are to be submitted with the entry.
• Published guidelines are subject to change. All decisions by the Parade Committee are final.
• Entry deadline is Noon on Sunday, July 7, 2024. (Anyone entering the Parade after the deadline may
participate but will be placed at the end of the Parade.)
• All entries are to be turned in to or faxed to the Fair Office, or mail to Parade Registration.
